Big Daddy Tazz
On September 25, 2021, Big Daddy Tazz was on way home from a successful show,
Driving home down Ellis, a person was laying in the road, Tazzy made a U-turn. This individual had been stabbed several times. People were just standing there, in shock but not acting.
Big Daddy Tazz rolled the injured man on to his side. He then called ambulance and police; they were there in minutes thank goodness they took over. The quick action taken by Big Daddy Tazz helped save the stabbed man lying on the road.
As Tazzy says “Rollercoaster of emotions, elation from the love of the crowd and laughing with friends to the sadness of what heinous acts people can do to each other.”
Big Shout out to Big Daddy Tazz who reads to children 7 days a week. On March 18, 2021 “Tazzy Reads” celebrated 1 year reading to children. Book 770 was read live on Zoom, so the kids could participate. Tazzy has read to children over 588 days and over 985 books. A New Version Of The Comedy Green Room!
Laughter Is The Best Medicine
More important than anything else is the health and safety of every single person on the planet. And a big thank you to the frontline workers in this fight against Covid-19
The Comedy Green Room was launched on December 31, 2000, I cannot believe that 20 years have passed in a blink of an eye. We have had three designs in of the website throughout the years.
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of The Comedy Green Room, I took on the task of redesigning the site. With Ms. Skylar Hart’s guidance, I started from scratch to make the site more user friendly. The goal was to increase the blog visibility. Have more followers submit articles and add “Comedy Tips” to our resources.

I never imagined the impact my little website would have on the international comedy community. I have stood by the philosophy of promoting stand-up comedy for the love of stand-up comedy. The website has proven stars on the site as well as unknown comics. And some of the known comics ten years ago are now household names.

Special Comedy Monday Night on November 22nd in Calgary Alberta
On Monday November 22, 2021, Mr. James Moore will have a very special Comedy Monday Night (CMN) to celebrate the life of Mr. Andrew Albert who passed away in August 2021. Andrew was a beloved comic in every nook and cranny of this country we call Canada.
Mr. James Moore, producer of (CMN) and Mr. Andrew Albert were very good friends on and off stage. On November 22nd, (CMN) will bring together some of Andrew's best comedy pals to celebrate a life well lived.
